Year 3 "Specialization & Personal Collection"

Sunday to thursday from 9.30 am to 4.30/6 pm

Tuition 2010: 59 000 Dhs
A budget of approximately 2 000 Dhs per year must be allowed to buy supplies
for the fashion design and pattern drafting course. A laptop with illustrator &
photoshop is required. Students must equip themselves with a sewing machine
for homework.

Entry conditions for transfer students non ESMOD student
Holder of a Bachelor Certificate or equivalent
Fashion Design & Pattern Making portfolio presentation + interview.

Program goals
Discovery of a specialization and a specific market sector
Acquiring specific techniques linked to that market.
Personality development.
Extensive personal style research.
Managing a personal collection project in the chosen specialization.
Image concept : Marketing & Communication for the project.
Presentation of the collection project to a jury of professionals
who will judge the presentation, the project's coherence,
the technical quality and the creativity. The jury's grade counts for 50%
of the final depends on the student's grades throughout the year.

Women's wear
From the creative designer approach to the sportswear spirit.
This specialization requires curiosity, an open mind and the capacity
to adapt to all situations.

New couture / Haute Couture Women's wear
Acquiring the techniques that are specific to Couture requests
a tremendous amount of patience, a sense of perfection for very
meticulous work, and a complete knowledge
of all textiles (noble fabrics and handmade fabrics).

Costume creation
Complementary to fashion, this specialization brings students behind
the scenes in theatres, movies and different events.
In order to amaze their public, students must be creative and inventive,
technically rigorous and open-minded.
