Thousands of people flocked to the main atrium at Wafi Mall last week to celebrate the graduation of the first generation of ‘Made in UAE’ fashion designers. 90 models showcased the creations of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year graduating students.
The fashion show featured prominent personalities from the fashion world who served as members of the jury, including Satoru Nino, president of Esmod International; Franck Duquenne, sales director of Christian Lacroix; Bernard Hoffman, director of Galeries Lafayette Dubai; Eisa Al Ansari, chairman of Al Ansari Group; Frédéric Molenac, artist; Dominique Borg, costume designer; Stephane Couvé-Bonnaire, textile creator and Mohamed Abdel Haleem, emergency recovery specialist. |
